St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

We have supported St. Jude for more than 10 years with a combination of trail ride events, raffles and in-store fundraising. We have raised over $120,000 since our partnership began.

Red Barn Ranch

Red Barn Ranch, a farm located just north of Harrisonville, Missouri, a short drive south of Kansas City. When you visit you'll find there is something for all ages on their real working farm. They have cows grazing on pasture, and you can feed the goats and alpacas in the petting area. In the fall, pick pumpkins grown right there in the patch they planted. Fun family experiences such as a corn maze, sunflowers, corn cannon, giant slides, nature trail, or picturesque photo taking opportunities.

We are proud to support Red Barn Ranch to help them maintain their facilities and learning experiences for kids of all ages.

Folds of Honor

Folds of Honor is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, rated a four-star charity by Charity Navigator and platinum on Guide Star, that provides educational scholarships to the families of military men and women who have fallen or been disabled while on active duty in the United States armed forces. Our educational scholarships support private educational tuition and tutoring for children in grades K-12, as well as higher education tuition assistance for spouses and dependents.

We hold two bucket sales annually over the 4th of July and Veteran's Day holidays where a proceed of sales are donated to Folds of Honor. Additionally throughout the year when Buckets with the Folds of Honor logo are sold, a portion of those proceeds go to support their amazing cause as well.

Missouri State Fair

The Missouri State Fair promotes excellence in Missouri agriculture, cultivates and supports future leaders in agriculture, and provides opportunities for the agricultural community to deepen consumers’ understanding and appreciation of agriculture’s role in their daily lives and the economy of our state.

We are passionate about supporting youth in agriculture, so annually we provide t-shirts to over 3,500 4-H and FFA exhibitors at the fair, donate supplies from our Sedalia store location to help support the fairgrounds and give away free buckets to exhibitors and fairgoers.

Our Priorities

• Preference is given to projects related to education and humanitarian outreach programs in the communities near our stores (Butler, Harrisonville, Ozark, Paola, Rolla, Sedalia and St. Joseph).
• We also enjoy assisting local organizations such as animal shelters, FFA and 4H- just to name a few.
• We generally do not approve contributions directly to individuals, benefits, for-profit organizations, or programs in communities we don't serve.

Guidelines and Expectations

• We receive thousands of requests every year, and although there are many important causes, we cannot honor every request.
• Immediate responses will not be provided by telephone or in-person in our stores.
• Requests must be made at least 30 days prior to the event. Advance notice is appreciated.
• Requests will be reviewed internally and, if approved, FC Farm & Home will contact you directly.
• Please do NOT contact stores for updates or requests. The associates do not have access to request status and cannot make determinations regarding donations.
